Study on the Clinical Correlation Between Anti-DFS70/LEDGF Antibodies and Autoimmune Diseases
Objective To investigate the clinical correlation between anti-dense fine speckles 70 antibodies/lens epithelium-derived growth factor (DFS70/LEDGF) antibodies and autoimmune diseases (AID). Methods Selected 64 dense fine speckled (DFS) ANA positive specimens admitted to the People's Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from August 2022 to August 2023 as the research objects (DFS positive group). Additionally,64 healthy specimens were selected as the healthy group. The clinical disease distribution characteristics of DFS positive group were analyzed, and according to whether it was an AID,the DFS positive group was divided into an AID group (n=26) and a non AID group (n=38),and the clinical disease distribution characteristics was analyzed. The positive detection rate of anti-DFS70 antibody was compared between DFS positive group and healthy group. The positive detection rate of anti-DFS70 antibody in AID group and non-AID group was compared. Results The 64 cases with positive DFS included 19 cases of rheumatoid arthritis (29.69%),6 cases of hypertension (9.38%),4 cases of pneumonia (6.25%),and 4 cases of facial dermatitis or cheilitis (6.25%),among which rheumatoid arthritis accounted for the highest proportion. There were 16 cases of rheumatoid arthritis (61.54%),3 cases of Sjögren syndrome(11.54%),and 2 cases of connective tissue disease (7.69%) in the AID group. The non-AID group included 3 cases of rheumatoid arthritis (7.89%),1 case of ankylosing spondylitis (2.63%),6 cases of hypertension (15.79%),4 cases of pneumonia (10.53%),4 cases of facial dermatitis or cheilitis (10.53%),etc. Anti-DFS70 antibody was detected in 25 cases (39.06%) in DFS positive group and 1 case (1.56%) in healthy group. The positive rate of anti-DFS70 antibody in DFS positive group was higher than that in healthy group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.001). A total of 25 cases of positive anti-DFS70 antibody were detected in AID group and non-AID group,of which 12 cases (46.15%) were detected in AID group and 13 cases (34.21%) were detected in non-AID group, and the difference was not statistically significant (P=0.336). Conclusion Anti-DFS70/LEDGF antibodies are clinically correlated with autoimmune diseases.
