Application of Process Reengineering Management Model Based on Lean Management in Prevention and Control of Hospital Infection in Operating Room
Objective To explore the application effect of process reengineering management model based on lean management in infection control in operating room hospitals. Methods A total of 550 cases of surgical patients in Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Qingdao West Coast New Area from July to December 2022 were selected as the control group, and the conventional management mode was adopted. In addition,a total of 550 cases of surgical patients in Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Qingdao West Coast New Area from January to June 2023 were selected as the observation group, and the process reengineering management model based on lean management was adopted. The incidence of incision infection, monitoring results of operating room hygiene, and nursing quality of hospital infection prevention and control in operating room were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of incision infection in the observation group was 0.18%,which was lower than 1.45% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The qualified rate of air sample collection in the operating room was 99.72% in the observation group, which was higher than 97.81% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The quality scores of nurses' material management, environmental management and disinfection and isolation work in the observation group were (9.29±0.75) points,(9.25±0.74) points and (9.21±0.88) points, respectively, which were higher than (8.79±0.72) points,(8.75±0.68) points and (8.71±0.81) points in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The process reengineering management model based on lean management can improve the quality of hospital infection prevention and control management in operating rooms and reduce the occurrence of infection events.
