Value of Quality Management of Disinfection Supply Room During Cleaning and Packaging of Surgical Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Instruments
Objective To explore the quality management of disinfection supply room during the cleaning and packaging period of minimally invasive endoscopic surgical instruments, and to analyze its management value. Methods A total of 200 minimally invasive endoscopic surgical instruments from the disinfection supply center,Liaocheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January to June 2023 were selected as the control group, implement routine management. A total of 200 minimally invasive endoscopic surgical instruments from the disinfection supply center,Liaocheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from July to December 2023 were selected as the observation group, implement quality management. Both groups were cleaned and packaged, and the cleaning quality, packaging quality, instrument sterilization rate, wet packaging rate, bacteria monitoring status and staff satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The quality scores of pliers cleaning, pipe cleaning, utensil cleaning and fine cleaning and total scores in the observation group were (97.23±1.21) points,(96.89±2.21) points,(97.27±0.98) points,(97.31±1.45) points and (378.45±5.87) points, respectively, which were higher than (94.54±2.34) points,(94.37±2.08) points,(95.46±1.22) points,(94.08±2.34) points,(365.77±8.93) points in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The packaging materials, packaging close, device placement, device combination quality score and total packaging score in the observation group were were (98.64±0.77) points,(97.86±1.01) points,(98.11±1.01) points,(97.55±1.08) points and (381.28±4.95) points, respectively, which were higher than (95.23±1.65) points,(95.27±2.04) points,(95.46±2.27) points,(94.69±2.16) points,(370.11±7.76) points of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The wet packaging rate of observation group was 1.00%,which was lower than 7.00% of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The the volume of hand bacteria, device surface bacteria and air bacteria in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of environment, layout, equipment, process and total score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Implementing quality management in the disinfection supply room during the cleaning and packaging period of minimally invasive endoscopic surgical instruments can significantly improve the quality of cleaning and packaging, reduce pathogen infections, and achieve high satisfaction.
