(Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations,JCI)标准下实施各项跌倒预防风险管理,评定其干预效果。
Effect Analysis of Implementing Fall Prevention Risk Management Based on JCI Standards in Neurology Department
Objective To implement various fall prevention risk management measures and evaluate the intervention effects for neurology patients under the standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCI) in the United States. Methods A total of 160 hospitalized patients admitted to the department of neurology,Shaodong People's Hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects. A total of 80 patients admitted from August 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the control group, and routine fall risk management was implemented. In addition,a total of 80 patients admitted from March to August 2023 were selected as the observation group, and fall prevention risk management based on JCI standards was carried out. Fall occurrence, fall injury degree, fall prevention behavior score,Morse fall score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of fall in the observation group was 2.50%,which was lower than 11.25% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The fall injury degree of the observation group was better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). On the 7th day of admission, the scores of fall prevention behavior in 2 groups were higher than those at admission, and the scores of fall prevention behavior in observation group were higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). On the 7th day of admission, the Morse fall score in the 2 groups was lower than that at admission, and the Morse fall score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total satisfaction of nursing in the observation group was 97.50%,which was higher than 87.50% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The risk management intervention of fall prevention based on JCI standard can reduce the incidence of fall and the degree of fall injury in neurology patients. At the same time,it also helps to enhance the awareness of fall prevention and improve satisfaction.
