Effect of Low-Dose Misoprostol Combined With Phloroglucinol in Inducing Labor in Pregnant Women With Premature Rupture of Term Membranes
Objective To analyze the effect of low-dose misoprostol combined with phloroglucinol in inducing labor in pregnant women with premature rupture of term membranes. Methods A total of 80 pregnant women with premature rupture of term membranes treated in the department of obstetrics,Dongguan Zhangmutou Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into the study group(n=41,low-dose misoprostol combined with phloroglucinol)and the control group(n=39,oxytocin)according to different methods of induction. The time of the first stage of labor, incidence of uterine inertia, cesarean section rate, lateral perineal resection rate and postpartum blood loss 2 h were compared between the two groups. Results The first stage of labor in the study group was(6.42±2.27)h,which was shorter than(11.36±2.76)h in the control group, the incidence of uterine inertia in the study group was 2.44%(1/41),which was lower than 30.77%(12/39)in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in cesarean section rate, lateral perineal resection rate and postpartum blood loss 2 h between 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of misoprostol and phloroglucinol can effectively shorten labor time and improve the success rate of labor induction in pregnant women with premature rupture of term membranes.
