Observation on the Effect of PDCA in Improving the Accuracy of Various Types of Pipeline Identification After Operation
Objective To observe the effect of plan-do-check-act(PDCA)cycle management in improving the correct rate of pipeline identifications after operation.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 500 cases of pipes that need to be marked in operating room,Jinjiang Municipal Hospital from March to April 2023 as before management,and 480 cases of pipes that need to be marked in operating rooms that implement PDCA cycle management from May to September 2023 as after management.The accuracy rate of pipeline identification was compared before and after management.Results The accuracy rate of pipeline identification after management was 91.46%,which was higher than 67.00%before management,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of PDCA cycle management has shown significant effects in improving the accuracy of postoperative pipeline identification.Through a continuous cycle of planning,execution,inspection,and action,PDCA cycle management ensures the accuracy and consistency of postoperative pipeline identification,effectively reducing medical accidents caused by identification errors.
