Ensuring patient safety has always been an important content in the medical care work,is an eternal topic in the medical industry,improving patient safety has always been the top priority of medical quality improvement goals in our country.Foreign research on standardized communication mode was earlier.After situation-background-assessment-recommendation(SBAR)communication mode was promoted and popularized,it was supplemented and strengthened and evolved into identity-situation-background-assessment-recommendation(ISBAR)mode.This paper aims to discuss the application progress of this mode in nursing handover.Through literature review and empirical research,found that ISBAR standardized communication mode has many advantages in nursing handover,including improving communication efficiency,patient satisfaction,and reducing the incidence of adverse events.However,implementing the ISBAR standardized communication model also faces some challenges,such as the need for training and education,as well as cultural and language differences.Therefore,this paper also discusses the strategies and methods to address these challenges,and explores the future research direction of ISBAR standardized communication model in nursing handover.
