Surveillance of occupational hazards in the workplace of Jinan,2020
Objective To understand the distribution and exposure levels of key occupational hazards in different industries in Jinan,and to provide evidence for the prevention,treatment and surveillance of occupational diseases.Methods The surveillance data in 2020 were collected through the"Workplace Occupational Health Surveillance System".SPSS 19.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results A total of 332 companies were involved,with limited liability companies(48.49%)and private companies(35.54%)as the major types,small and micro as the major sizes,and manufacturing(85.84%)as the major type of industry.The rate of companies reporting projects with occupational hazards differed signifi-cantly across the districts and countries(x2=44.27,P<0.05).In addition,the rates of companies equipped with protective devices against dust,toxins and noises differed significantly among districts and counties(x2=28.22,44.65,112.34,P<0.05).The rate of workers with a position exposed to dust concentration exceeding the occupational exposure limit was 3.7%.The rate of dust detection sites with dust concentration exceeding the occupational exposure limit was 3.47%.The chemical toxin exposures were found to be lower than the occupational exposure limit.The rate of workers with a position ex-posed to noise level exceeding the occupational exposure limit was 8.93%.Conclusion The workplace occupational hazards in the companies in Jinan mainly include dust and noise,with relatively high prevalence of dust and noise exposures exceeding the occupational exposure limits.
