Text Quantitative Analysis of China's Medical Service Policy for the Elderly
Objective:It systematically reviews the policies related to medical services for the elderly in China,analyzes the policies'characteristics and current status,and puts forward suggestions for improving the development of the elderly medical service policy system in China.Methods:Based on PKULAW,upon retrieving 47 medical service policy texts for the elderly in China,it constructs a three-dimensional framework of"policy tools,policy process and policy strength"for quantitative analysis.Results:There are three problems of medical service policy for the elderly in China,such as structural imbalance of medical service policy tools,Insufficient monitoring and evaluation of the policy process,Limited policy strength.Conclusion:China should promote the balanced development of medical service policy tools,increase policy supervision and evaluation,and accelerate the legislative process of medical services for older adults.
