Analysis on the Bed Allocation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospitals in Guangdong Province from the Regional Comparison Perspective
Objective:To analyze the differences in the use and distribution of beds in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals in 21 cities in the northern,eastern,western,and Pearl River Delta Region of Guangdong Province from 2020 to 2022,in order to provide references for standardizing the use of hospital beds and improving the efficiency of bed resource utilization.Methods:Using a bed utilization model and the Thiel index to analyze the allocation and utilization efficiency of bed resources in the aforementioned regions.Results:From 2020 to 2022,the number of beds in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals in Guangdong Province has been increasing year by year.In terms of resource allocation equity,population dimension>economic dimension>geographical dimension,and regional differences are the main reasons for unfair resource allocation.Conclusion:The number of beds in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals in Guangdong Province has steadily increased,and the per capita ownership is insufficient;the equity of bed resource allocation is not high,and the equity in terms of geographical area and economic development needs to be improved.
