Analysis on the Hospital Medical Service Efficiency in China Based on Malmquist Index
Objective:By measuring and analyzing the trend,structure,and regional differences in the efficiency of medical services in hospitals across the country,suggestions are provided for improving the efficiency of medical services and promoting high-quality development of hospitals.Methods:Using the Malmquist-DEA model,it studies the current situation and trend of medical service efficiency in hospitals across the country,compares and analyzes the efficiency of medical services in hospitals in various regions and internal provinces.Results:The overall efficiency of medical services in hospitals nationwide is basically stable,and the improvement of efficiency is mainly driven by technological progress.Technical efficiency has been stagnant for a long time,and at the same time,the contradiction of uneven development among regions and provinces is more prominent.Conclusion:The spatial structure layout of medical and health resources should be optimized,attention should be paid to medical output,graded diagnosis and treatment should be promoted,and the balanced development of hospitals in various regions and provinces should be promoted.It is needed to adhere to innovation driven development,attach importance to operational management,build a new pattern of high-quality hospital development,vigorously tap into the potential of technological efficiency,and continuously and steadily improve the efficiency of hospital medical services.
