Clinical value of serum vascular endothelial growth factor,25 hydroxyvitamin D3 and tumor markers in diagnosing endometrial cancer
Objective This paper aims to investigate the diagnostic value of serum vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),25 hydroxyvitamin D3[25(OH)D3]and tumor markers in endometrial carcinoma. Methods Sixty-two patients with endom-etrial cancer and 62 patients with benign uterine lesions were selected from Longyou County People's Hospital from January 2020 to June 2022,and 62 healthy women who were admitted to the hospital for physical examination at the same time were selected as controls. The levels of serum VEGF,25(OH)D3,HE4,CA19-9,CA125 in the above three groups and patients with endo-metrial cancer of different pathological grades and FIGO stages were compared. Results The levels of serum VEGF,HE4,CA19-9 and CA125 in endometrial carcinoma group, benign lesion group and the control group decreased in turn(P<0.05),and the levels of 25(OH)D3 increased in turn(P<0.05).The levels of VEGF,HE4,CA1 9-9,CA1 25 in serum of endome-trial carcinoma patients with pathological grades of G3,G2 and G1 decreased in turn(P<0.05),and the levels of 25(OH)D3 in serum increased in turn(P<0.05).The serum VEGF,HE4,CA19-9 and CA125 levels in patients with endometrial car-cinoma in FIGO stages of Ⅳ,Ⅲ,Ⅱ and Ⅰ decreased in turn(P<0.05),and the serum 25(OH)D3 levels increased in turn(P<0.05).ROC analysis showed that the AUC of VEGF,25(OH)D3,HE4,CA19-9 and CA125 in the combined diagnosis of endometrial cancer was 0.882,with a sensitivity of 82.3%and a specificity of 80.6%.Conclusion The levels of VEGF,25(OH)D3,HE4,CA19-9,CA125 in serum are closely related to the occurrence and development of endometrial carcinoma, which can be used in the auxiliary diagnosis of endometrial carcinoma.
