The predictive value of serum triacylglycerol, cystatin C and glucose transporter 5 levels for hyperuricemia in patients with IgA nephropathy
Objective This paper aims to explore the predictive value of serum triacylglycerol(TG),cystatin C(Cys-C)and glucose transporter 5(GLUT5)levels on hyperuricemia in patients with primary immunoglobulin A(IgA)nephropathy. Methods A total of 120 patients with IgA nephropathy in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were divided into hyperuricemia group(n=57)and non-hyperuricemia group(n=63)according to the blood uric acid(BUA)level.General data, expression of serum TG,Cys-C and GLUT5,CKD staging of the two groups were compared, and the correlation between BUA and serum TG,Cys-C and GLUT5 was analyzed,as well as the predictive value of each index for hyperuricemia in IgA nephropathy patients. Results The levels of serum BUA,TG,Cys-C and GLUT5 in hyperuricemia group were higher than those in non-hyperuricemia group(P<0.05).BUA was positively correlated with serum TG,Cys-C and GLUT5 levels(P<0.05).There was statistical significance on the difference in CKD stages between the two groups(P<0.05).The AUC of serum TG,Cys-C and GLUT5 in predicting the occurrence of hyperuricemia was 0.893,the sensitivity was 70.18%,and the specificity was 95.24%,AUC and specificity were better than the individual predictive value of each index(P<0.05).Conclusion TG,Cys-C,GLUT5 have certain correlation with BUA level in patients with IgA nephropathy and hyperurice-mia.The combined detection of TG,Cys-C and GLUT5 has good predictive value for the occurrence of hyperuricemia in patients with IgA nephropathy, which can provide reliable theoretical basis for clinical diagnosis and improvement of prognosis.
