Analysis of cervical cancer and breast cancer screening results and preventive measures for age-appropriate rural women in Yuanyang County
Objective This paper aims to analyze the screening results of cervical cancer and breast cancer among appropriate-age women in Yuanyang County,improve women's awareness of reproductive health and prevention,and provide protection for life safety.Methods From January 2021 to December 2022,20 036 appropriate-age women aged 35 to 64 in Yuanyang County were enrolled,all of whom underwent cervical and breast screening,and the detection rates of cancer and other diseases were counted.Results The detection rate of cervical cancer and breast cancer was 0.075%,including 10 cases of breast cancer and 5 cases of cervical cancer.The detection rate of venereal diseases was 16.85%;1 332 cases of vaginitis,877 cases of cervical diseases,536 cases of ovarian cysts,391 cases of vulvitis and 241 cases of other diseases were screened out from common gynecological diseases.The cervical cytologic examination showed 29 abnormal cases,with an abnormal rate of 0.14%.21 cases were atypical squamous cells,6 cases were low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions,and 2 cases were high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions.In the survey of the ways to acquire knowledge about cancer and cancer,10 968 people learnt it through brochures,4 615 people through TV and mobile phones,4 031 people through village cadres and women directors,and 422 people through friends and neighbors.Conclusion Cervical cancer and breast cancer patients were found in the screening of the two cancers,and benign gynecological diseases were also screened.The investigation found that rural women of the appropriate age had very limited access to reproductive health knowledge.Therefore,publicity efforts should be strengthened in the future,and technical training of medical practitioners should be comprehensively improved to provide support for the improvement of reproductive health level of women of the appropriate age.
