Analysis of colorectal cancer screening results from 2020 to 2022 in Bailongqiao Town,Jinhua City
Objective This paper aims to understand the status of colorectal cancer screening in Bailongqiao Town,Jinhua City and provide basis for promoting the prevention and control of colorectal cancer in this region.Methods High-risk factor ques-tionnaire(CRCHRFQ)survey for colorectal cancer and fecal occult blood test(FOBT)were conducted among residents aged 50-74 years(3 494 men and 4 441 women)from 2020 to 2022.Initial positive cases were sent to the designated hospital for further examination.Results Among the 7 934 residents,there were 1 284 high-risk cases(16.18%),among which 777 high-risk cases were male(22.24%);there were 507 female high risk cases,and the high risk rate was 11.42%;the high risk rate of men was higher than that of women,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=168.85,P<0.005).Colonoscopy was performed in 487 patients with positive initial screening,and the examination rate was 37.93%.Among those who underwent colonoscopy,51.54%were male and 48.46%were female.The compliance rate of female colonoscopy was higher than that of male,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=26.64,P<0.005).59 cases of advanced adeno-ma(AA)were detected by colonoscopy,the detection rate was 12.11%.There were 103 cases of non-advanced adenoma(N-AA),the detection rate was 21.15%.Three cases of colorectal cancer(CRC)were diagnosed,with a detection rate of 1.85%.The detection rates of AA and N-AA in males were higher than those in females,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Colorectal cancer screening programs can detect colorectal lesions and facilitate early intervention for early diagnosis and treatment.However,the compliance rate is still relatively low,and it is necessary to strengthen publicity,enhance the awareness of early screening,and improve the compliance of colorectal cancer screening,which plays a positive role in the prevention and control of colorectal cancer.
