Analysis of the Status and Influencing Factors of Job Satisfaction Among Elderly Care Nurses Based on the JD-R Model
Objective To analyze the job satisfaction status and influencing factors of geriatric nursing nurses,and provide countermeasures and suggestions for improving their job satisfaction and promoting the development of geriatric nursing career.Methods According to the distribution of region and population resources in W City,Shandong Province,18 grassroots health serv-ice centers and 9 secondary and above medical institutions were selected from 3 county-level cities and 1 county in W City and studied with the job requirement-job resource(JD-R)model and quantile regression model.Results For the 685 cases,the o-verall satisfaction score of nurses engaged in geriatric nursing service was high.And the quantile regression results showed that daily work duration,participating working years,providing spiritual comfort services,monthly salary,professional title promotion system,and training had a significant impact on the satisfaction of different score points(P<0.05).Conclusion In order to pro-mote the construction of healthy aging and improve the job satisfaction of nurses engaged in geriatric nursing service,it is necessa-ry to give more support to the cause of geriatric nursing,reasonably arrange the work requirements of nurses,increase the input of work resources,and pay attention to the relationship between nurses and patients.
