Analysis on the Status and Influencing Factors of Nutrition Health Education on Migrant Population in Western China Based on Logistic Regression and Decision Tree Models
Objective To evaluate the status of nutrition literacy of the floating population in western China and its influencing factors,so as to provide evidence-based reference for nutrition health education of the floating population.Methods 45129 float-ing population in western China recorded in the 2016 National Floating Population Dynamic Monitoring Survey were chosen.The a-vailability of nutrition health education among the floating population with diverse characteristics was assessed using chi-square test,and its influencing factors were analyzed by binary Logistic regression and decision tree model.Results The acceptance rate of nutrition health education of the floating population in western China was 53.13%.The propaganda materials and propaganda column were still the main ways to receive health education.There were significant differences in nutrition and health education a-mong the floating population in western China with different characteristics such as gender,age,education level,sample point type,employment status,mobility scope,mobility duration,mobility reasons,types of medical insurance and residents'health re-cords(P<0.05).The results of decision tree model and binary Logistic regression model showed that the main influencing factors were the flow range,whether to establish residents'health records,and the type and mode of health education content.Conclusion Health education resources should be appropriately focused on improving nutrition and health literacy education and other types of health education publicity in multiple ways to help improve the health literacy of floating groups.
