The role and mechanism of high-fat diet in chronic constipation based on intestinal flora
Chronic constipation is a functional intestinal disease with a high prevalence and difficult to treat. Many pa-tients have poor clinical treatment results and a significantly reduced quality of life.In recent years, the development of chronic constipation is believed to be related to intestinal dysbiosis.Dietary is an important influencing factor of the com-position of intestinal flora. Some studies have found that high-fat diet can cause intestinal dysbiosis, which can lead to the occurrence of chronic constipation, but the specific mechanism has not been fully elucidated. This paper summarizes the ef-fect and mechanism of high-fat diet causing chronic constipation by affecting intestinal flora from several aspects, such as 5-hydroxytryptamine,short-chain fatty acids and chronic intestinal inflammation,in order to achieve the purpose of prevent-ing and treating chronic constipation by regulating intestinal flora through precise dietary intervention.
