Endometrial microecology and its application in assisted reproductive technology:research progress
Microbial identification has shifted from culture-dependent to culture-independent since the advent of new gen-eration sequencing techniques and whole-genome sequencing techniques that reveal the presence of a rich diversity of mi-croorganisms in the human reproductive tract. With more and more extensive application of assisted reproductive techno-logy in clinical practice, the application of endometrial microecology in assisted reproductive technology has become a re-search hotspot of scholars. In clinical practice, pregnancy outcome can be predicted by detecting the status of endometrial microbes, and reasonable intervention can be carried out to improve reproductive outcome. The purpose of this paper is to review the development of research methods for endometrial microecology, summarize the composition of endometrial mi-croecology,and study its application in assisted reproductive technology and the management of endometrial microeco-logy disorders.
