Traditional Chinese medicine treatment for Helicobacter pylori based on intestinal microecology:research progress
Helicobacter Pylori(H.pylori)is a microaerobic Gram-negative bacterium that colonizes the epithelial surface of the gastric mucosa and can induce a variety of gastrointestinal diseases.More than 50%of the world's population infec-ted with H.pylori.In the complicated and huge intestinal micro-ecosystem of the human body,H.pylori infection can cause changes in the composition of intestinal flora.H.pylori eradication therapy can also lead to changes in the diversity and structure of intestinal microbial population, but the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. In recent years, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been considered one of the new pathways for H.pylori treatment, and the combined applica-tion of TCM during H.pylori eradication therapy can increase the eradication rate, improve intestinal flora disorders, and reduce the occurrence of antibiotic-related adverse effects. However, the study on its regulatory effect on intestinal flora is only in its infancy, and its effect on intestinal flora homeostasis and the mechanism still need to be explored in the future. Therefore,we made some discussions and offered some prospects on the contents mentioned above to provide new ideas for the clinical research.
