Influence of gut microorganisms on the pain mechanism of gouty arthritis based on"enterobacteria-immunity-joint"axis
Gouty arthritis(GA)is a common form of crystalline arthritis.Pain is the most prominent symptom at the onset of GA,and how to relieve the inflammatory pain during GA attacks is the core of current treatment. As the interrelation-ship of the"gut-joint"axis has been confirmed,it has been found that gut microorganisms and their metabolites can inter-fere with GA pain mechanisms by modulating the macrophage-mediated immune inflammatory response to GA.Therefore, this paper reviews the progress in research on the"enterobacteria-immunity-joint"axis in GA inflammatory pain mechan-isms and aims to summarize the published literature on gut microorganisms and metabolites affecting macrophage-medi-ated GA inflammatory pain mechanisms and potential mechanisms, providing literature support and references for the fu-ture development of new anti-GA analgesic drugs targeting gut microorganisms.
