Objective To analyzes the causes of missing appointment adioscopy under the shuttle service chain and put forward some suggestions for improvement.Methods The departments,types,time and causes of missed ap-pointments registered in the radiology department of a public hospital during the working days from February 8 to 18,2022 were collected.Results The total failure rate was 6.01%(122/2 031).The main reasons for missing appoint-ment of radiology examination were death,discharge and transfer of patients,followed by voluntary abandonment of ra-diology examination.The main reason for non-surgical department radiology missed appointment was the patient's vol-untary abandonment,and the reason for surgical department radiology missed appointment was the doctor's cancellation.The main reasons for missing radiology appointments were doctor,patient,system failure,and inadequate preparation before examination.Conclusion The causes of radiology missed appointments were focused on different departments,the problem of delayed information feedback was prominent,and the problem of inadequate communication between doc-tors and patients was obvious.Doctors'behavior should be standardized by combining performance means and clinical pathways,and the stepped transfer service mode should be explored to reduce the rate of radiology missed appointments.
