Objective To summarize the contents and methods of pre-use confirmation of intelligent blood storage equipment based on Radio Frequency Identification(RFID),and to provide reference for conducting such work.Meth-ods In accordance with the requirements of the"Blood Station Quality Management Standard"and other requirements,the intelligent blood storage equipment and supporting information management system based on RFID technology and RFID blood tags were confirmed before use.Results It was confirmed that the intelligent blood storage equipment and supporting information management system based on RFID technology and RFID blood tags met the expected require-ments.Conclusion It is an important measure for blood collection and supply institutions to improve the fine manage-ment level of blood quality and safety to carry out the confirmation activities before the use of intelligent blood storage e-quipment in a standardized and effective manner.
