Objective To evaluate the impact of intelligent terminal paperless office system on medical work effi-ciency and job satisfaction by using the difference-in-difference(DID)model.Methods From January to February 2023,80 doctors and 160 nurses in a hospital were enrolled as participants, and were divided into intervention group and control group. The medical staff in the intervention group adopted the paperless office App system of the intelligent ter-minal,while the control group adopted the traditional medical workstation mode. The average time for doctors to write medical records, the average time for nurses to deal with nursing items, nursing quality score and medical work satisfac-tion were recorded at different time points.DID model was used to compare the differences between the two groups. Results With the increase of time,on the 7th,14th and 28th days of the study, the average time for doctors to write medical records and the average time for nurses to deal with nursing items in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group, and the nursing quality score and satisfaction with medical work were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).DID model showed that the average time for medical personnel in the intervention group to write medical records and the average time for nurses to deal with nursing items showed a de-creasing trend(t=-2.170、-6.590,P<0.05),while the nursing quality score and satisfaction with medical work showed an increasing trend(t=5.180、3.240,P<0.05).Conclusion Paperless consultation under the intelligent ter-minal can effectively improve the efficiency and satisfaction of medical and nursing staff.
