Objective To investigate the status quo of nursing quality management in community health service centers in Jiangsu Province and provide reference for improving nursing quality.Methods 148 community health serv-ice centers in Jiangsu Province were selected as the research objects and the status quo of nursing quality management was investigated by questionnaire.Results The bed-to-nurse ratio of 148 community health service centers ranged from 1:0.06 to 1:2.25,74 institutions had no specialist nurses and 7 institutions had no senior nurses.5 institutions had a first-class quality control organization structure,125 institutions had set up a nursing quality and safety management committee,141 institutions had established a nursing quality management system,124 institutions had formulated nurs-ing quality management standards,and all institutions had set up a nursing quality inspection group,and the frequency of inspection was mainly once a month(51.35%).13.51%of the health administrative departments at the higher level of the institutions did not set up a nursing quality control center in primary medical and health institutions,and 91.89%of the health administrative departments at the higher level of the institutions carried out special supervision of nursing qual-ity,and the frequency of supervision was mainly once every quarter(58.78%).Conclusion The nursing manpower al-location of 148 community health service centers in Jiangsu Province was insufficient,the nursing quality management organization system needed to be improved,and the supervision of superior health administrative departments needed to be strengthened.
