Objective To analyze the policy documents of long-term nursing insurance system and the existing problems,and provide reference for its sustainable development.Methods The related policies and implementation schemes of 49 pilot cities of long-term nursing insurance in China were sorted out,and compared and analyzed in four aspects:insured object,guaranteed object,financing channel,way and standard,service form and content.Results In the process of the construction of long-term nursing insurance in pilot cities,the scope of insured objects and protected objects had been expanded,but there were still problems such as the scope of insured objects varied from place to place,the threshold of access for protected objects was high,the sustainability of financing faced challenges,the financing standards were not uniform,and the service content needed to be optimized.It is suggested that the insured object should gradually achieve full coverage of urban and rural residents,appropriately expand the scope of insurance,explore inde-pendent financing mechanisms and unified financing standards,and establish a multi-level and diversified service system with the participation of the government,communities and families as the orientation of demand.
