According to the steps of healthcare failure mode and effect analysis(HFMEA),the risk points existing in the process of intravenous infusion of vasoactive drugs in inpatients were systematically explored and deeply analyzed, and targeted intervention measures were formulated and implemented from four aspects:building an evaluation system, carrying out five-step linkage training, formulating cluster management measures, and creating quality evaluation standard. The results showed that the mastery rate of nurses'knowledge of vasoactive drugs was increased from 76.3%to 98%,the interception rate of unreasonable doctor's orders was increased from 65%to 99.8%,the average time of ac-curate conversion of drug speed was shortened from 25 s to 19 s,the accuracy rate of nurses'evaluation was increased from 81.6%to 99.2%,and the success rate of nurses'venepentesis was increased from 75.4%to 99%.The implemen-tation rate of extravasation risk prevention increased from 80%to 100%,the renewal standard rate increased from 54%to 100%,the awareness rate of patients'vasoactive drug knowledge increased from 65.7%to 98%,and the implementa-tion rate of safe drug use standard increased from 76%to 99.2%,which effectively reduced the risk of vasoactive drug use and ensured the drugs use safety of patients.
