Objective To investigate the release of local ambulatory care related policy documents and their con-tents.Methods Systematically searched the websites of provincial and municipal health commissions,medical insur-ance bureaus,etc.,and carried out visual analysis of the current local ambulatory care policy documents in China.Re-sults A total of 122 policy documents related to ambulatory care were retrieved from 31 provinces and cities.The first policy document was issued by Shanghai in 2007,which mainly emphasized the implementation of ambulatory surgery.Eastern and western ambulatory care related policy documents accounted for more(77.05%).At present,the contents of the relevant policy documents for ambulatory care mainly include four aspects:the management of the whole course of the patient's illness,the scope of ambulatory care,the ambulatory policy,and the promotion measures.The promotion of ambulatory surgery and the improvement of the proportion are the current hot topics.Conclusion The promotion and application of ambulatory surgery is still a hot topic.However,regional differences in the development of ambulato-ry care have led to an imbalance in the distribution of policy documents.Future policy can further focus on the list of am-bulatory surgery diseases,optimize the quality management system of ambulatory care,improve the relevant system process and perioperative management of patients.
