Objective To analyze he implementation status and problems of unaccompanied medical care in China,and provide reference for the development of unaccompanied medical care in Wuhan.Methods Based on SWOT mod-el,this paper analyzed the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of unaccompanied medical care devel-opment,and selected Wuhan municipal government departments,medical institutions,public groups,third-party or-ganizations and other stakeholders to carry out risk matrix analysis for each key word in SWOT analysis.Results The strength(S)score(8.01)was lower than the weakness(W)score(11.39),the opportunity(O)score(8.64)was low-er than the threat(T)score(11.20),and stakeholders of unaccompanied medical care generally tended to adopt defen-sive strategies(22.59).The opportunity(O)score of medical institutions was only 8.57,but the opportunity(O)score of infectious disease hospitals and secondary comprehensive hospitals were relatively high,with 11.67 and 10.96 respec-tively.The highest overall score among all keywords was weakness W1,with"insufficient nursing human resource"at 12.81,followed by threat T4,with"an increased economic burden"of 12.46.Conclusion The unaccompanied medi-cal care should not be promoted on a large scale,and it can be applied on a pilot basis in infectious disease hospitals and secondary general hospitals with elderly chronic diseases as appropriate.Relevant state departments should strengthen support for unaccompanied medical pilot institutions from the aspects of laws,prices,medical insurance and finance,and pilot medical institutions should build an evaluation system with patient satisfaction and medical safety as the core.
