Objective To explore the realization path of high-quality development of public traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospitals in China. Methods Questionnaire survey was used to collect data of 67 public TCM hospi-tals in China,and fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis method was used for configuration analysis. Results There were three high-quality development paths,including comprehensive driving type,cultural literacy leading type,"medical and preventive integration plus TCM characteristic" integration type. Conclusion The high-quality devel-opment of public TCM hospitals need to comprehensively consider internal management and external environmental fac-tors,and flexibly select and combine various development strategies.
