Objective To explore the establishment of a " one bed in the whole hospital " management mode,en-hance the utilization efficiency of bed resources,and alleviate the problem of hospitalization difficulty. Methods From January to June 2024,Shanghai General Hospital implemented the " one bed in the whole hospital " management mode. A comparison and analysis of the application effects for inpatients was conducted both before and after the mode imple-mentation. Results Following the implementation of this management mode,the average hospitalization days and bed waiting time of patients were significantly lower than those before the implementation (P<0.05).The patient satisfac-tion and bed occupancy efficiency index were higher than those before the implementation (P<0.05). Conclusion The "one bed in the whole hospital" management mode has improved the efficiency of bed utilization,shortened patients waiting time for admission,and enhanced the medical experience for patients.
