Objective To construct the evaluation index system of ideological and political work of medical staff in public hospitals,and to provide idea for improving the effectiveness of ideological and political work in hospitals. Meth-ods Based on the three-dimensional quality evaluation mode,the indicator pool was sorted out by means of literature review,telephone interview and field investigation. The Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process were used to deter-mine the index system and weight,and the evaluation index was quantified and scored. An empirical analysis was con-ducted on the medical staff of 7 secondary and above public hospitals in Jiangsu Province. Results The positive coeffi-cients of the two rounds of consultation expert were 100％. The authority coefficients were 0.8675 and 0.8395,and the coordination coefficients of the three-level indicators were 0.416 and 0.443,respectively. A set of evaluation system in-cluding 3 first-level indicators,12 second-level indicators and 34 third-level indicators was formed,and the CR val-ues of the indicators were all less than 0.1. Conclusion The evaluation index system of ideological and political work of medical staff in public hospitals has a certain degree of differentiation,which can quantitatively evaluate the ideological and political work of public hospitals,and has feasibility.
