In response to the lack of corresponding rapid and accurate determination methods for high sulfur contents in tungsten concentrate, the combustion-iodometric method was used to study and determine the testing conditions as follows:the titration degree of iodine standard titration solution is 0.02 mol/L,and the sample size is 0.10-0.30 g;the combustion temperature is 1 300-1 350℃,and the combustion time is 3-5 minutes;the flux is 0.3 g tungsten tin particles.Through precision and accuracy experiments, the determination range of sulfur contents in tungsten concentrate was expanded to 1.00%-10.00%.This method is quick and easy to operate, and is suitable for the determination of high sulfur contents in tungsten concentrate.
