Utility of serum C-reactive protein in differentiating diagnosis of children community-acquired pneumonia: a Meta-analysis
Objective To evaluate the utility and clinical value of serum C-reactive protein in differentiating diagnosis of children community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). Methods The articles related to the utility of serum C-reactive protein in differentiating diagnosis of children CAP were selected. Data analysis was conducted by RevMan 5. 0. 25 and STATA 10. 0 software. Results The results of meta analysis showed that the positive rate of serum CRP in patients with bacterial pneumonia significantly higher than that of mycoplasma pneumonia patients, viral pneumonia and normal healthy children(all P<0. 001) ;The positive rate of serum CRP in patients with mycoplasma pneumonia significantly higher than that of viral pneumonia patients and normal healthy children(all P<0. 001) ;In addition,the positive rate of serum CRP in viral pneumonia patients higher than normal healthy children!P=0. 01). Conclusion Serum CRP in patients with bacterial pneumonia are significantly higher than that of mycoplasma pneumonia, viral pneumonia patients and normal healthy people.
