Application of fast track rehabilitation nursing in colorectal surgery
Objective To investigate the effectiveness, safety and advantage of using fast track rehabilitation nursing care in colorectal cancer surgery. Methods 30 patients cared about by using fast track rehabilitation nursing care as trial group and 30 patients using traditional nursing care as control group were compared in the index of dietary intake, postoperative bowel venting, hospital stay time and operative complications. Result Compared to traditional nursing care, the use of fast track rehabilitation nursing care resulted in significantly earlier had semi-liquid orally and faster restoration of gastrointestinal functions(P<0. 01), postoperative hospital stay was shorter(P<0. 01). There was no significant difference in the postoperative complications between two groups (P>0. 05). Conclusion Fast track rehabilitation nursing is feasible and effective in colorectal cancer patients.
