Clinical observation of patient controlled subcutaneous analgesia with Sufentanil for postoperative gynecologic tumor
Objective To investigate the effect, safety and complication of patient controlled hypodermic analgesia (PCHA) with sufentanil in patients undergoing gynecologic tumor surgery. Methods Sixty patients undergoing gynecologic tumor surgery were randomly divided into two groups of PCHA with sufentanil (group S, 30 cases) and fentanil (group F, 30 cases) . The visual analogue scale (VAS), side effects and satisfaction were recorded at 4, 8, 24 and 48 h during PCHA. Results Compared with group F, VAS scores of group S at some time point in 4 ~ 48 hours were less and sedation scores were higher (P<0. 05). Conclusions PHCA with sufentanil is effective and safe for treatment of postoperative pain after gynecologic tumor surgery. The effect of analgesia and sedation of sufentanil is better than of fentanil.
