Study on autoantibody in childhood and adult with systemic lupus erythematosus
Objective To investigate the difference of autoantibody between childhood and adult in systemic lupus ery-thematosus(SLE). Method The autoanribodies were analysed in the peripheral blood from 50 children and 357 a-dults ,who were diagnosed as SLE first time in our hospital. Result The positive rate of ANA,ds-DNA, ACA.Sm-antibedy.SSA.SSB, U1RNP and rRNP antibody of childhood and adult SLE patients were 98. 0% (49/50) vs. 90. 5% (323/357) ,80.0% (40/50) vs. 69. 5% (248/357),0% (0/50) vs. 2. 3% (9/357) ,4. 0%{ 2/50} vs. 13.2% (47/357), 10.0% (5/50) vs. 10. 6％(38/357) ,10. 0% (5/50) vs. 10. 1^(36/357), 4. 0%(2/50) vs. 7.0^(25/ 357) and 6. 0%(3/50) vs. 4. 8%(17/357) ,P>0. 05. Conclusion The positive rate of autoanribodies in childhood SLE are similar to that in adult SLE.
