Clinical observation of deep vein thrombosis formation in patients with chronic heart failure
Objective To observe the morbidity of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) formation in patients with chronic heart failure. Methods In order to count the morbidity of DVT formation, 364 patients with chronic heart failure were checked the deep veins in both lower limbs by applying color Doppler technique. Result The morbidity of DVT formation in patients with chronic heart failure was 11. 3%. The morbidity of different age groups- <60 years old, 60~75 years old and >75 years old, was 7.2%, 8.7% and 17.1% respectively. The morbidity of different cardial function- Ⅱ , Ⅲ and Ⅳ was 7. 0%, 10. 2% and 17. 6% respectively. Conclusion The patients with chronic heart failure are have the high risk of DVT. The total morbidity was 11. 3%, and the morbidity is gradually increased with ageing, prolonged medical history and decreased cardical function.
