Change and clinical significance of lymphocyte subsets in children suffered severe hand-foot-mouth disease combined with viral encephalomeningitis
Objective To investigate the change and clinical significance of lymphocyte subsets in children suffered severe hand-foot-raouth disease combined with viral encephalomeningitis. Methods Flow Cytometry and Fluorescence Staining were adopted to detect T lymphocyte subsets in 26 children suffered severe hand-foot-mouth disease combined with viral encephalomeningitis,40 children with mild hand-foot-mouth disease, and 30 cases of health children. Results CD3+ /CD4+ T cell ratio and CD4+ /CD8+ T cell ratio of children suffered severe hand-foot-mouth disease combined with viral encephalomeningitis were lower significantly than the health children group, CD4+/CD25+ T cell ratio was higher significantly than the health group,CD8+ T cell ratio difference was no statistical significance. CD3+/CD4+ T cell ratio and CD4VCD8* T cell ratio in mild hand-foot-mouth disease were higher significantly than the health group,CD4+/CD25+ T cell ratio was lower significantly than the health group,CD8+ T cell ratio difference was no statistical significance. Conclusion Children suffered severe hand-foot-mouth disease combined with viral encephalomeningitis was under immunosuppressive condition.
