Comparation of blood gas analysis by three methods of collecting blood through radial artery in children
Objective To discuss the different methods of collecting blood through radial artery in blood gas analysis of children. Methods 207 cases were selected in collecting blood through radial artery in blood gas analysis of children, and they were divided into 3 groups by time, which was called A,H,C A group was formed by the 69 cases, which was collected blood through radial artery using 1 ml blood-pin. B group was formed by the 69 cases, which was collected blood through radial artery using 1 ml Syringe linking 5. 5 scalp needle (1:1 000 heparin anticoagulant). C group was formed by the 69 cases, which was collected blood through radial artery using 1 ml blood-pin linking 5. 5 scalp needle in which plastic pipe was cut to 2 cm under aseptic technique. Results The needle was easy to slip in A group, and the puncture was in low success rate. As the anticoagulant was mixed uneven,B group was prone to coagulation. In C group, the needle was not easy to slip, and the puncture was in high success rate, and was not prone to coagulation, so test results were accurate. Conclusions It is an ideal method to collect children blood through radial artery by 1 ml blood-pin linking 5.5 scalp needle in which plastic pipe is cut to 2 cm under aseptic technique.
