There is an abnormal sound from the rolling bearing at the rear cover of a marine air conditioning cooling seawater pump.Through monitoring,it finds that the excessive vibration leads to the sound. This paper stud-ied the fault diagnosis of this abnormal phenomenon, using an infrared thermal imager and a vibration analyzer for data measurements, including the temperature of the pump rear cover, the speed, phase, vibration speed, and vi-bration acceleration waveform of the rolling bearings. The data shows that the surface temperature of the rear cover is normal, and the vibration phase of the rolling bearing is unstable.Further analysis reveals that the amplitude of the velocity time-domain waveform is unstable, and there are abundant high-order harmonic components in the velocity and acceleration spectra in addition to the power frequency.According to the testing and analysis,it proves that the rear cover bearing was loose.Due to the diagnostic results,it replaced the bearing, and the vibration amplitude of the replaced air conditioning cooling seawater pump returned to normal.
