Analysis of risk factors for nosocomial infection in inpatients of liver disease specialized hospital
Objective To study the risk factors of nosocomial infection in inpatients of a liver disease specialized hospital to provide reference for formulating prevention and control measures. Methods Through retrospective investigation, the risk factors of nosocomial infection among inpatients in a liver disease specialized hospital were statistically analyzed and evaluated. Results From 2018 to 2019,there were 45 702 inpatients in this liver disease specialized hospital whose hospitalization time was>48 h and<90 d,and they were divided into infection group(n=2 436)and non-infection group(n=43 266)based on whether nosocomial infection occurred.Logistic regression analysis showed that infection risk factors induded age, length of hospitalization, use of antibacterial drugs, combined use of antibacterial drugs, cancer, cirrhosis, diabetes, ventilator, and arteriovenous catheter. Conclusion Paying attention to young and elderly patients, actively treating basic diseases, strengthening the management of infections related to the three major tubes, standardizing the application of antibacterial drugs, and strengthening training and assessment on nosocomial infection prevention and control can reduce the occurrence of hospital infections.
