Investigation on the status quo of fever clinic construction in medical institutions in Nanjing after normalized prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic
Objective To investigate the construction of fever clinics in medical institutions after normalized prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic,and to provide reference for improving the work of fever clinics in medical institutions.Methods The construction of the fever clinics in 57 second-level and above medical institutions in Nanjing,Jiangsu Province was investigated and evaluated by means of field investigation.Results Of the 57 fever clinics surveyed,53 were rated as qualified,with a qualified rate of 92.98%."Three zones and two channels",triage plan,and patients'transfer process were set up in all fever clinics.All staff were trained on the prevention and control of infectious diseases,and were equipped with correct protective equipment.86.8%of fever clinics met the requirements for environmental disinfection,and 98.1%of fever clinics were equipped with foot-operated medical waste buckets.Conclusion The construction of fever clinics in most medical institutions in Nanjing meets the requirements of relevant specifications,but the sanitation and disinfection of environmental object surface should be strengthened.
