Monitoring of medical water disinfection quality in some medical institutions of Shandong Province from 2016 to 2020
Objective To investigate the current status of microbial contamination of medical water and its influencing factors,so as to provide a basis for standardizing the disinfection of medical water and to improve infection control measures.Methods From 2016 to 2020,the quality of medical water disinfection in key departments such as hemodialysis room,ICU,operating room,endoscopy room,stomatology department and center sterile supply department in some general hospitals of different levels in Shandong province was monitored.Results A total of 628 samples were collected,525 of which were qualified,with a qualified rate of 83.60%.Among different types of medical water,the qualified rate of water in stomatology department was the lowest(69.87%),and the difference of qualified rates among different types of medical water was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The microbial contamination of medical water is serious,and it is necessary to further formulate and improve the monitoring standards for disinfection of medical water,strengthen the supervision of medical water,and ensure medical safety.
