Determination of the contents of 5 kinds of chlorine-type quaternary ammonium salts in disinfectant wipes using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry
Objective To establish a method for simultaneous detection of 5 kinds of chlorine-type quaternary ammonium salts in disinfectant wipes using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Methods Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was used to detect the contents of 5 kinds of chlorine-type quaternary ammonium salts in disinfectant wipes to determine the practicability of the detection method. Results Under the optimized detection condition, the linear relationship between chlorine-type quaternary ammonium salts in disinfectant wipes was good in the concentration range of 5 to 60 µg/mL(r>0.999 3),and the method detection limits were all 1.1 to 1.6 µg/mL,the average recovery rate was between 86.2%and 106.6%,and the RSD was between 1.4%and 6.7%.Conclusion The gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method established in this study has the advantages of simple operation, rapidity, and good reproducibility. It can simultaneously determine the contents of 5 kinds of chlorine-type quaternary ammonium salt in disinfectant wipes.
