Objective To understand the disinfection quality of nursing institutions for the aged during the COVID-19 pandemic and to provide reference for strengthening the prevention and control of infectious diseases in nursing institutions for the aged.Methods By using on-site sampling and testing methods,the indoor disinfection quality of nursing institutions for the aged in a city during the epidemic period was monitored.Results The qualified rate of indoor air hygiene quality in nursing institutions for the aged in the city before disinfection was 87.50%,and the qualified rate of hygiene quality after disinfection increased to 98.61%.The qualified rate of hygiene quality of object surfaces before disinfection ranged from 84.38%to 90.80%,and the qualified rate of ground hygiene quality was 72.73%;The qualified rate of hygiene quality of object surfaces after disinfection ranged from 91.35%to 98.44%,and the qualified rate of ground hygiene quality was 94.81%.Conclusion The qualified rate of disinfection effect in nursing institutions for the aged during the COVID-19 pandemic is low,and chemical disinfectants should be used to strengthen the disinfection of indoor air and object surfaces.
