Design and Evaluation of Dishwashing Liquids for Household Dishwashers
Five dishwashing liquid formulations were designed using four non-ionic surfactants and two dispersants,and the decontamination and drying properties of two commercially available dishwashing liquids were evaluated.The assessed stains include oat stains,tea stains,and spinach stains;The tableware includes melamine plates,ceramic bowls,ceramic cups,and stainless steel bowls.The experiments show that the decontamination and drying properties of different non-ionic surfactants have their advantages and disadvantages under different stains or different tableware materials.Using dispersant PRIME 1 instead of 445N can enhance the effectiveness of oat stain removal.
