Effect on the Foam Properties of the Compound Systems of Amino Acid Surfactants and Sodium Laureth-6 Carboxylate
Based on sodium laureth-6 carboxylate, the effects of different amino acid surfactants and different polyols on the performance of foam were investigated. The results showed that the combination of sodium lauroyl sarcosinate or sodium cocoyl alaninate and sodium lauryl polyether 6 carboxylate had better foaming capacity, while the combination of disodium cocoyl glutamate and sodium lauryl polyether 6 carboxylate had optimum foaming stability. For the formulate stability,10%sodium lauroyl sarcosinate improve the stability in low temperature significantly which can ensure it is transparent liquid.Besides it,the addition of different polyols have no effect on the foaming capacity of sodium lauryl polyether 6 carboxylate, while the addition of glycerol or maltitol is superior to methylpropanediol,PEG-8,propylene glycol in foaming stability.
