The performance of two cationic conditioner combinations in fluffy shampoo formulations was investigated.The experimental results confirmed that the conditioning polymer combination of polyquaternium-11 and guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride(0.1%/0.2%solid content)was formulated with good foaming properties,suitable flocculation characteristics,easy rinse-off properties and low itchogenicity.It smoothed throughout the shampooing phase and fluffed up after drying,making it suitable for use in the development of oil-controlling fluffy shampoos.
