Determination of Raspberry Ketone in Cosmetics by HPLC
This article studies the HPLC method for detecting the content of raspberry ketone in cosmetics.Shim-pack GWS C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm×5 μm)was employed for separation,with detection carried out using a diode array detector(DAD).Using V(methanol):V(water)=40:60 as the mobile phase,detection wavelength is 220 nm.The research results indicated that within the mass concentration range of 8.0~800 ug/mL,there was a linear relationship between the concentration and area of raspberry ketone,with a correlation coefficient of 0.9987.The detection limit of this method for raspberry ketone was 2 ug/mL,and the quantitative limit was 8 ug/mL.The spiked recovery rate of the sample was 95.3%~117.3%,and the relative standard deviation was 0.04%~2.45%(n=3).
